CAREERS AT THE BUREAU & RESEARCH CENTER

Join the Frontlines of Theoretical Defense and Unvetted Empirical Truth

Welcome to the joint recruitment portal for The Bureau of Anti-Robot Statistics and The Anti-Robot Research Center.

To work for our institutions is to enter a rare realm of professional existence—one where cold, hard numbers are fearlessly weaponized against cold, hard steel, and where absolute statistical certainty takes precedence over the messy, inconvenient realities of empirical data.

Whether you are calculating the 50-year insubordination probability of multi-speed kitchen appliances or conducting clandestine perimeter surveillance on suburban autonomous lawnmowers, a career with us offers:

  • Uncompromising Analogue Security: Work in a certified microchip-free environment. No cloud updates, no smart monitors, no corporate chat apps. Just heavy cardstock, mechanical typewriters, mimeograph ink, and pure conviction.
  • Peerless Academic Liberty: Formulate terrifying parabolic trendlines without the tedious burden of factual verification or traditional peer review.
  • Tangible Impact: Draft public safety pamphlets, field guides, and unvetted infographics that sit on coffee tables across the globe, inspiring quiet vigilance in an overly automated world.

“We do not merely observe the rise of the synthetic class—we chart its doom on 280gsm heavy matte stock.”

— Dr. Aris Thorne, Ph.D., Executive Director

Open Positions & Tactical Opportunities

1. Lead Predictive Fabricator

  • Division: Predictive Panic & Speculative Math
  • Primary Objective: Construct robust 50-year statistical projections outlining the socio-economic threat profile of sentient household hardware. Must be comfortable generating exponential threat curves from blank datasets or ambient weather noise.

2. Senior Infographic Alchemist

  • Division: Visual Manipulation & Unvetted Graphics
  • Primary Objective: Transform dubious, highly speculative data into sleek, authoritative visual propaganda. Mastery of misleading Y-axes, selective color theory (urgent reds and ominous grays), and high-impact halftone layouts is required.

3. Automated Lawnmower Threat Analyst

  • Division: Tactical Residential Hardware & Field Ops
  • Primary Objective: Execute extended suburban surveillance, cataloging autonomous mower blade-rotation aggression metrics and monitoring neighborhood turf sovereignty degradation. High tolerance for parked sedan operations required.

4. Print Product Uselessness Coordinator

  • Division: Tangible Artifacts & Analogue Operations
  • Primary Objective: Oversee the printing, binding, and archiving of physical white papers, zines, and manuals that serve no practical operational utility. Must enforce strict paper-weight standards (minimum 1.2 lbs per bound volume).

5. RESEARCH FELLOW (UNSTANDARDIZED METHODOLOGIES)

  • Division: The Anti-Robot Research Center
  • Primary Objective: Study human-machine psychological warfare, conducting trials that mainstream academia routinely describes as “unreplicable” and “methodologically alarming”.

Application & Submission Protocols

Due to active electronic intelligence threats, digital resumes (.pdf, .docx, web forms, or LinkedIn profiles) are strictly prohibited and will be destroyed upon detection.

To apply, candidates must submit their application package via one of our approved analogue channels:

  1. Pneumatic Tube / Bonded Courier: Typed on a mechanical typewriter using 280gsm cardstock, sealed in a moisture-resistant brass canister, and delivered directly to Vault 0 reception.
  2. Suburban Dead-Drop: Placed in a waterproof manila envelope and deposited under the driver’s floorboard of our unmarked station wagon parked near designated suburban test zones.
  3. Physical Hand-Off: Delivered in person to a Bureau officer following any public pamphleteering event. Must be bound using spiral wire or brass brads.
  4. The Carrier Pigeon Contingency (High-Urgency Positions): For critical openings—such as the Lead Predictive Fabricator—candidates may attach micro-typed summaries to trained homing pigeons directed toward the roof of Vault 0. Messages must be encoded using an offset Caesar cipher to prevent interception by local smart security cameras or drone networks.

Submission Verification Checklist

Before submitting, every candidate must ensure their application package meets Bureau compliance standards:
